1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StartBizSmart NG ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

StartBizSmart NG is a business decision engine that provides personalised business recommendations, market analysis, grant directories, import/export calculators, and related tools for entrepreneurs in Nigeria and the diaspora. The Platform provides informational content and does not guarantee business success.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You may not share your account access with others.

4. Subscription & Payments

Access to premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are non-refundable. This is a digital product — access is granted instantly upon payment confirmation. All sales are final.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Paystack, and Selar. We do not store your full payment card details. Subscription prices may change with prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including business profiles, market analysis, calculators, guides, and the matching engine — is the intellectual property of StartBizSmart NG. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell Platform content without express written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Platform provides business information and recommendations for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that any business venture will be profitable or successful. You assume all risks associated with acting on information provided by the Platform.

StartBizSmart NG shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform.

7. Affiliate Programme

Affiliates earn commissions on successful referrals. Self-referrals are not permitted. We reserve the right to modify commission rates, reverse commissions for disputed or refunded transactions, and suspend affiliate accounts for policy violations.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. You may terminate your account by contacting support — no refunds will be issued for the current subscription period.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
